Rooms are the crucial part of every resort and Hank will construct his first in the Dinky Shed in Timber Crossing.
Depending on Hanks expertise, he soon will be able construct more than just a bedroom, and the more exquisite a resort is, the more demanding the guests will be. The guests will also rate the quality of their stay. Hank can raise prestige by adding better decorations or furniture.

Room creation[]
To create a room, Hank must have built a Workbench. The game offers also an ingame tutorial about room creation and editing.
Players must navigate Hank to the workbench and use E to interact with it, and to enter build/craft mode.
The crafting menu will pop up at the bottom left of the screen and then shows four possible options: Build mode, Inventory, Crafting items, and X for cancelling the room creation/edit mode. This menu also shows the players the name of the resort, the building type, and the options to switch between the different house layers and floors.
- To begin a new room, players must click on the hammer icon and choose the room they need for their resort: Comfort, Hygiene, Food, Utility and Special
- Not all resorts support every room type.
- The creation of the room can now begin, and the players must choose the location of their room inside of the building. In this mode a top rail will pop up with further information and options:
- +/- add and remove tiles
- The minimum size the room needs. It must be considered to have enough space to place furniture and decorations. Walk ways must be wide enough for characters to pass through. Doors are absolutely necessary, like some other mandatory objects.
- Price in coins.
- When the room is done, the players must just add objects from their inventory.
- With R, the furniture or decoration can be rotated until the players are happy with the position.
- Players can confirm with the ✓ at the top rail or cancel the whole process in clicking X.
- Rooms also can be further edited or removed again.
- Doors and windows can also be removed, just drag them away from their current location until they light up red and hit the delete key on the keyboard.
- For rooms like Kitchen and Utility Rooms, players must consider a debuff from those rooms. This can result in a poor rating from guests who spend the nights in a room that is overlapped by this zone. Better items can mitigate the effect.
- Bathrooms also show an influence zone for the rooms it supports.
Warning signs[]
If there is something wrong with the resorts, this is symbolised by different icons. Hank also will receive feedback from the guests.
